When these appear, it feels like spring may be on the way, yet it is possible they are lulling us into a fasle sense of springness..The last couple of years they have been the prelude to bitter temperatures and snow.
However, so far so good. This week has been quite mild, with sunshine thrown in!
This might be why Snoop has gone walkabout for a week.
He has gone of for up to 4 days before, and comes in hungry, eats, sleeps, and settles down again for weeks on end before wondering off again. The first time he went I was really worried about him. But the more he has done it the less worried I am.
So a week has still not got me overly concerned about him. I suspect he is being fed elsewhere, but I will check the Blue Cross hospital tomorrow anyway, just in case.
Reggie is missing him lots though, and in the first few days he wondered around calling for him, and sticking his head out of the cat flap looking for him outside. He has settled down a little now, but I can tell he still misses him.
